National Screening Programmes are Running Again

Our health board are working hard to recover their screening programmes after a pause over the Summer.

Screening clinics are still being run during local lockdowns and the national fire-break. Attending a booked screening appointment is a permitted reason to travel.

  • Invites are being sent out again so if you are due or overdue a screening appointment then look out for a letter.
  • Screening tests are the same but the method of delivery has changed so both patients and staff can be kept safe.
  • please call the number on your letter if you are unable to attend your appointment so your slot can be offered to someone else.

If you are worried about a change in your health DO NOT WAIT for your screening invitation, get in touch with Tywyn Health Centre without delay, even if you have had a previous normal screening result, on 03000 843 200.
