Home Visits are for emergency care for house bound patients.
If you think you need a home visit please phone before 10:00am. You will be contacted by our Triage Nurse to arrange your visit.
It is important to give us an idea of your problem and the degree of urgency, as almost all problems are dealt with more effectively, at the surgery or hospital, where the Doctors will have access to specialist diagnostic equipment and assistance. The use of these resources will help to improve and resolve your illness.
Please note it takes a Doctor at least four times longer to see you at home than in the Surgery. The Community Nurse can also visit you.
A doctor is available 24 hours a day, including weekend and bank holidays.
After 6:30 pm and answering machine will give you the out of hours number: 0300 123 55 66
